WATER VALLEY — Edna Lynn Doolin Harmon, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral home with Mayor Larry Hart officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Water Valley. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until service time at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Shelby, she was a lifetime member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served as a choir member and Sunday school teacher for over 60 years. She was a Bible scholar and loved serving the Lord. She was an avid reader, excellent seamstress, amateur artist and enjoyed ceramics.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Leo Harmon; three sisters, Mari Sandoval, Lina Morris and Edith Ames; and one brother, Wade Doolin.
