MINTER CITY — Robby Ray Jones, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at New Elbethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Paris with the Rev. Tim Sockwell officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, which is in charge of arrangements.

He owned and operated Jones Flying Service in Minter City before he retired. He was a member of the Mississippi Agriculture Aviation Association and the National Rifle Association. He was Baptist and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Anne Ives Jones of Minter City; sons, Timmy Jones of Minter City, Jeff Jones of Greenwood and Shane Ives of Beebe, Arkansas; sisters, Helen Wheeler of Ellisville and Ruth Gandy of Paris; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
