The Oxford Police Department responded at 3 p.m. Tuesday after a 911 call came into dispatch reporting an unresponsive person.

Officers arrived to Oxford T-shirt at 1453 S. Lamar Blvd. where paramedics already had determined a man was dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“At this time investigators are still working on the details of the incident and no further information is available at this time,” police said this morning.
