Barbara Ann Ray Holder

Barbara Ann Ray Holder, 85, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland. Roller Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Duncan, Mississippi, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Drew, Oxford and at Robinson and Center in Conway, Arkansas. She will be missed by her family who deeply loved her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Herman Holder, and siblings, Dulcie Ray, Mary Nell Smith, William Ray and Vivian Lovera.

She is survived by her children, John A. Holder and Barry Holder, both of Conway, Arkansas; daughter, Vivian Holder of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Mack Ray of Paris Texas, Wayne Ray of Cordova, Tennessee and Jimmy Ray of Bartlett, Tennessee; two sisters, Lucy Chamerblain of Hernando and Linda Letson of Southaven; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to her favorite organization, Sunnybrook Children’s Home, P.O.Box 4871, Jackson, MS 39296-4871 or an Alzheimer’s Charity of your choice.
