Officers investigated seven wrecks, issued 39 tickets and made 40 arrests on the following charges:

— Domestic violence, public intoxication, possession of narcotics, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and malicious mischief

— Two for careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia

— Two for shoplifting

— Careless driving and DUI

— Alcohol consumption on city street, disorderly conduct and public intoxication

— Four noise violations

— Two for minor in possession of alcohol and fake ID

— Driving the wrong way on a one-way street and possession of drug paraphernalia

— Possession of drug paraphernalia

— Leaving the scene of a wreck, no insurance and DUI

Officers investigated the following reports:

— Six alarms

— Animal complaint

— Four suspicious activities

— Four malicious mischief complaints

— Ambulance assist

— Four disturbances

— Four improper parking complaints

— Two civil matters

— Petty theft

University Police

Officers investigated two wrecks and made four arrests on the following charges:

— Driving while license suspended, speeding and no insurance

— Two for possession of drug paraphernalia

— Public intoxication

Officers investigated the following reports:

— Credit card fraud

— Service calls

— EMS requested due to intoxicated person

Sheriff’s Department

Deputies investigated two wrecks and made six arrests on the following charges:

— Two felony DUIs

— Two for contempt of court

— Careless driving and DUI

— Chancery order

— Grand theft

— Harassment

— Two service calls

Oxford Fire Department

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

— Smell of gas at 6:19 p.m. at 458 Olive Branch Way; found iron on in bathroom

— Plastic cover was removed from pull station and activated an alarm at 1:27 this morning at the Kappa Sigma house on campus; no fire
