Bettie Jo Burt Campbell

Bettie Jo Burt Campbell, 64, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Celebration of life service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Clear Creek MB Church with the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Oxford, she was a member of Clear Creek MB Church. She was a former employee of Whirlpool. She loved doing hair and one time sang with the Weary Travelers. She was a graduate of Central High School.

She is survived by her husband, Marion Campbell of Oxford; son, Aff Burt of Oxford; mother, Mary Alice Burt of Oxford; six brothers, Michael Burt, Gregory Burt and Jerry Burt all of Oxford, Danny Burt of Memphis, Cornelius Burt of Orlando, Florida and Eric Burt of Decatur, Illinois; and five grandchildren.
