Dorothy Wallace Keys Hayes

Dorothy “Dot” Wallace Keys Hayes, 93, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at Lakeland Nursing Home in Jackson. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Holland officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, she retired from Delta Airlines where she worked for many years as a flight attendant. She was a member of College Park Presbyterian Church in College Park, Georgia and was a previous employee of Peachtree City Library in Peachtree City, Georgia. She graduated from University High School, class of 1940 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Mississippi.

She is survived by her sons, Keys Hayes of Brandon, George Hayes of Perdue Hill, Alabama, and Peter Hayes of Newnan, Georgia; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
