Sue Harper Haik

Sue Harper Haik, 59, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia. Funeral services will be Thursday at noon at Bett Baptist Church with interment in the City of Indianola Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Bett Baptist Church. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Indianola, she lived there for several years before moving to the Coldwater area. She was a member of Bett Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and Vacaction Bible School. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Michael Smith of Abbeville; two daughters, Ann Smith of Memphis, Tennessee and Diane Knight; three brothers, Jim Harper of Peoria, Illinois, Paul Harper of Canton, Georgia and Joe Harper of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
