Willie Mae Mosby

XENIA, OHIO — Willie Mae Mosby, 88, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Green Oaks Nursing Home in Xenia, Ohio. A celebration of life service will held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Reginald McClain officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Oxford, she was a graduate of Oxford Training School and Lorain Cosmetology School in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a cosmetologist for many years, and a retired employee of 40 years with J.E. Neilson Department Store in Oxford. She was also a professional seamstress. She was a member of Cypress Grove MB Church in Oxford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Mosby.

Survivors include daughter, Janice Jackson of Xenia, Ohio; son, Dwight Mosby of Racine, Wisconsin; sister, Olivet Partlow; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
