Linda Hutchings Norwood, 60, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at her home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Pittsboro with Bro. Jerry Wilson officiaing. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will held today from 1-2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Pittsboro. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Slayden, she was an active member of First Pentecostal Church of Pittsboro, who loved the Lord, her pastor and her church family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved taking care of family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Lee Norwood, of Water Valley; daughter, Gail Allen of Water Valley; sons, Chris Norwood of Banner, Benny Norwood of Water Valley and George Norwood of Abbeville; sisters, Mildred Gore of Greenwood, Ada McGuff of Holcomb and Joyce Kiddy of Batesville; brother, George Hutchings of Batesville, and 21 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Church of Pittsboro or First United Pentecostal Church of Water Valley.
