Firemen responded a burning home in the Steeplechase subdivision this morning.

Steeplechase is off of Highway 6.

There were no injuries reported. They called for more water backup at least once in the morning and were still on the scene in the early afternoon.

The home belongs to Stanley Coleman of Madison. It is his secondary home. He was on the scene of the fire.
