Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Smell of smoke reported at 4:51 p.m. at the FedEx Center construction site; likely cause was an air conditioning belt

Air conditioning leaked into a smoke detector causing it to activate at 2 this morning at Oxford Health and Rehab; no fire

Lafayette County Fire

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

EMS assist at 10:15 a.m. on County Road 452; cancelled

Structure fire at 10:32 a.m. at 502 Canter Cove; extinguished

Fire alarm at 4:21 p.m. at 3 Park Drive Ext. in Abbeville; canceled

Controlled burn at 4:50 p.m. on CR 370; cancelled

Rekindle at structure fire at 8:46 p.m. at 502 Canter Cove; extinguished
