OXFORD — Juanita Terrell, 79, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A celebration of life service will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Tallahatchie-Oxford Missionary Baptist Association building with Dr. Leroy Wadlington officiating. Burial will be in Harrisonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Harrisonville M.B. Church. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Panola County, she was a member of Harrisonville M.B. Church where she was an usher, on the mother’s board, missionary, youth leader and the Chairman of the Homecoming Committee. She was a retired housekeeper for the University of Mississippi. She was also a foster grandparent at the North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford. She enjoyed her family, traveling and cooking.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bennie Ray Cohran.

She is survived by her husband, William “Son” Terrell of Oxford; four daughters, Bernice Webb and Bobbie McEwen, both of Oxford, Frances Bullock of Memphis and Brenda Dickerson of Arlington, Tennessee; six sons, Arthur Cohran of Jackson, William Terrell, Jr. of Smyrna, Tennessee, Henry Odis Terrell of Tupelo, Michael Terrell of Memphis, Christopher Terrell and Danny Buford, both of Oxford; one brother, Ernest D. Joiner of Oxford; 29 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
