OXFORD — Robert Homer “Bobby” Poteete, 83, formerly of Water Valley, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, with Bro. David Freeman officiating. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Keel Poteete; and two sons, Stephen Lee Poteete and Bryan Scott Poteete.

He is survived by two grandchildren, Ashley Poteete of Eupora and Blake Poteete of Calhoun City.
