EMERGENCIES

Oxford Fire Department

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Smoke from a barbecue activated the smoke detector at 3:23 p.m. at the Kappa Sigma house; no fire

Smoke detector malfunction at 8:18 p.m. at Natural Products on campus; no fire

Smoke detector hanging down from wall at 12:46 this morning at the Phi Mu house; fixed the detector

Resident was locked out of her apartment and requested help from OFD at 12:34 this morning at Highland Square.

Lafayette County Fire

Firefighters responded at 1:45 this morning to a general fire alarm at 102 Woodland Hills Drive but no cause was found.
