VIDEO: Freeze talks Florida

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze addressed the media at his weekly press conference Monday, reviewing the game against Vanderbilt and looking forward to the third-ranked Rebels’ second road trip of the season Saturday to take on No. 25 Florida (6 p.m., ESPN)

Freeze again credited an improved Vanderbilt squad for some of Ole Miss’ struggles in Saturday’s 27-16 win, but “we’ve got things we need to improve on just like the week before that we’ll address this week and hopefully get kids healthy and get back ready to go for an exciting trip down in Gainesville.”

Guards Justin Bell and Rod Taylor didn’t play against the Commodores with injuries, but Bell will “try to go” this week, Freeze said, while Taylor is still struggling with the torn labrum he suffered in his shoulder in the offseason with coaches hoping he can play a handful of snaps Saturday.

As for Laremy Tunsil, Freeze said progress was made in the All-American tackle’s situation last week. The Rebels are “pushing as hard we can to get him back,” Freeze said, but when he’ll be available is still up in the air.
