OXFORD — Jeffery Clay Percell, 56, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at his home near Oxford. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Prospect Baptist in Yocona with Bro. Buster Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Yellow Leaf Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church.

Born in Oxford, he enjoyed working as a superintendent with Endevco for many years. Fishing, guns and gun collecting were things he enjoyed. He liked dogs and was very fond of his dog, “Missy.”

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane S. Percell and his brother, Kenneth Dixon Percell.

He is survived by two daughters, April Carlton of Oxford and Kristi Hagan of Dolph, Arkansas; son, Todd Percell of Oxford; mother, Mary Percell of Oxford; brother, Mike Percell of Sardis, and six grandchildren.
