OXFORD — Mary Margaret Jenkins, 51, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at her home near Oxford. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at The Orchard. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Clarksdale, she had lived most of her life in the Oxford area. She was a registered nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. One of her great pleasures was riding horses. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Jenkins.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Hershel “Hershey” Tate of Oxford; and two brothers, Henry Jenkins and Gary Jenkins, both of Oxford.
