Donald Joseph Nardozzi, 62, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at M.D. Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home.

Nardozzi was born Dec. 6, 1952, in New Rochelle, New York, to Daniel Donato and Anna Jablonski Nardozzi. He was a sales representative for Dunlap & Kyle in Batesville and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He could be found playing golf and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Ford Nardozzi of Batesville; two sons, Matthew Eric Nardozzi of Oxford and Jason Weed (Mary) of Pope; stepmother, Ruby Downs Nardozzi of Batesville; two sisters, Dorothy Nardozzi Burns of Batesville and Danielle Nardozzi Van Dyke (David) of Batesville; one brother, Joe Nardozzi (Vickie) of Oxford; and two grandchildren, Brianna and Chance Weed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
