JACKSON — Billy Mack Morgan, 77, of Jackson, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oxford University United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Black officiating. Burieal will be in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at noon in the Wesley Fellowship Hall at Oxford University United Methodist Church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, he graduated from University High School and attended the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the company of family and friends. He was a forever fan of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Smith Morgan; siblings, Shine Morgan Jr., Ed Morgan Sr., and Bessie Morgan Arrington.

He is survived by two daughters, Edie Morgan Hayles of Oxford and Mary Morgan Powers of Little Rock, Arksansas; and three grandchildren.
