A group of cyclists pedaling from Iowa to New Orleans, made a stop at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in  Oxford Friday afternoon on their journey to promote awareness of organ  and tissue donation.

Bruce Brockaway began Pedal for Life after his son Garrett donated his organs that saved the lives of five people following his tragic death at age 10.

The group is bicycling 1,150 miles to New Orleans to attend the National Donate Life conference, which begins on Thursday.
