The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning held an emergency special called meeting this morning to discuss personnel issues concerning the search for the next chancellor of the University of Mississippi.

According to the IHL and the university, there will be a news conference at 2 p.m. today on the steps of the Lyceum.

The EAGLE will be there and will post the information on www.oxfordeagle.com as soon as any announcement is made.

IHL governs the public universities in Mississippi.
