SARDIS — Thessalonia Webster, 82, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at her residence in Sardis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Greater Light Church with Pastor Bobby Walker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Level Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Hodges Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Panola County, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Webster.

She is survived by sons, James Burdette, Kenneth Webster, and Ulysses Edward, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Timothy Edwards of Sardis; stepsons, Leon Porter of Southaven and Johnny Edwards of Sardis; daughters, Jonneedvar Edwards, Ruby Ellis, Barbara Webster, all of Sardis, Brenda Edwards, Terren Webster-Austin and Lizzie Webster, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters, Ruthie Mae Hemingway of Batesville and Izola Hard of Como.
