OXFORD — Sylvia Ann Hall Davis, 70, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Wes Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, she was an executive administrative assistant at the University of Mississippi. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU, a Sunday school teacher and a Bible study facilitator. She also volunteered at the Pantry.

Survivors include her husband, Levi Afton Davis of Oxford; two daughters, Nancy Lynn Davis and Melissa Davis Smith, both of Oxford; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
