His Saint Louis-based company, Life Long Productions, made its move to Oxford roughly one year ago and Brown is using the anniversary to branch out in the Lafayette-Oxford-University area.

The videography company is geared toward small- to medium-sized businesses and artists with a main goal of putting out high-quality videos for an affordable price.

“I want to help other local business really evolve and see their potential,” Brown, 45, said. “I believe that with my videography I can show off all of the key features to local businesses around Oxford.”

Brown said he appreciates the fact his family can enjoy a good quality of life in Oxford and the father of three will incorporate his three children into the productions.

“I love taking my kids on set with me,” he said. “And they love it too. They get to see what I do and why I love it. The arts is a big part of my life and theirs, so I am honored to have them with me.”

Brown said coming from a bigger city he wasn’t expecting the Oxford community to be so positive and uplifting.

“Since moving to Oxford I have realized how fast word travels,” he said. “The tight-knit  community has really welcomed me and my family. I am amazed at how nice and welcoming the people are.”

The company slogan, “Producing big vision for the growing visionary,” highlights Brown’s overall love for hidden potential. Brown is ready to help local businesses explore their potential. He focuses on highlighting the business’ strength and getting it on multimedia platforms.

Brown looks forward to the next year and hopes to find studio space within the next few months. He is eager to see where the community of Oxford will take him, and said he is overjoyed by the welcoming faces of Oxford.
