RACINE, Wisconsin – Accolia Owens Woods, 89, formerly of Lafayette County, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, in Racine, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at House of Prayer Church in Water Valley with burial in Yocona Cemetery in Taylor. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-6 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes, which is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters, Clara Jackson and Loistine Woods, both of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin; four sons, Joshua Adams Sr., and Freedman Willingham, both of Taylor, James Woods of Oxford and Albert Woods of Mt.  Pleasant, Wisconsin; two stepsons, Gene Adams of Oswego, Illinois, and Charles Adams of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sisters, Martha Smith of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Leona Hairston of Flint, Michigan; as well as 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
