OXFORD — Susie Moore Reagan, 98, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Hermitage Gardens in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Oxford-University United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Rester and the Rev. Warren Black officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Starkville, she grew up on the Mississippi State campus where her father was a professor. She graduated from Mississippi State and worked in Baton Rouge where she met and married her husband, Michael Boughman Reagan. They settled in Houston, Texas where she raised her family. She and her husband lived in Oxford while her husband managed Chambers Corporation from 1963-1967 and eventually settled in Oxford after retirement in 1983. She was an accomplished bridge player, artist, mall walker, member of the Oxford Garden Club and Book Lovers Club. She was a member of the Oxford-University United Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Baughman Reagan, her brothers, Joseph Samuel Moore and John Thomas Moore, and her sister, Frances Moore Cartledge.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Gates and Patty Tatum, both of Oxford; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
