Man picked up for going AWOL

A Lafayette County man was picked up on a warrant by Lafayette County Sheriff’s Deputies for going “absent without leave,” from the Mississippi National Guard.

Deputies arrested Bobby J. Hutchins, 23, on Friday without incident on a warrant from the Mississippi National Guard. Hutchins will remain at the Lafayette County Detention Center until someone from the National Guard transfers him to a military detention facility.
