Due to the Veterans Day holiday, most local, state and federal government offices will be closed Wednesday.

Garbage pickup by the Oxford and Lafayette County solid waste departments will run as scheduled on Wednesday; however, there will be no rubbish collection in the city.

Parking around the Square will be free and the Oxford University Transit buses will run their normal routes.

The Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library will be open.
