OXFORD — Theresa Ann “Terry” Barlow McKenzie, 56, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Weathers, Bro Ron Jenkins and Bro. Tim Sockwell officiating. Interment will be in the New El Bethel Cemetery, Highway 331, in Oxford. Visitation will be today from 4-7 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, she was a graduate of the Northwest Community College nursing program. She had been employed as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She loved her family deeply. Spending time shopping and spoiling them gave her great pleasure. She also enjoyed planning trips and traveling. She was a member of New El Bethel Baptist Church.

Her father and a sister, Marcie Nell Barlow, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Donald McKenzie of Oxford; son, Adam McKenzie of Oxford; daughter, Amanda Perkins of Pontotoc; mother, Dianne Smith Barlow of Oxford; five sisters, Linda Barlow Wait, Lynn Barlow Webb, Jackie Barlow Conrad, Ashley Barlow Metts and Kayla Barlow Winters, all of Oxford; one granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews.
