HICKORY FLAT — James Ernest Williams, 80, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at his home in Hickory Flat. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Rev. Hall Bridgforth, the Rev. Steve Wilson, the Rev. Jon Vazquez and the Rev. Glen Williams officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 5-9 p.m. at the church. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He lived his entire life in the Hickory Flat area, was a retired truck driver and a member of Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Potts Camp.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Diane Williams, and two great-grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Della Rose Williams; three sons, Glen Williams, Dewayne Williams and Junior Williams; two daughters, Bonnie Clifton and Melinda Patterson; three sisters, Audry Strawbridge, Leonetta Gandy and Ruby Francis Mayo; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Building Fund.
