WATER VALLEY — Mary Ethel McCarty, 90, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church near Ackerman with the Rev. Randle Poss officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman is in charge of arrangements.

She was a homemaker and retired factory worker.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cook of Oxford; sister, Joyce Ann Dozier of Jackson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Providence Cemetery Fund.
