Oxford Fire Department
7:25 a.m. – Old Taylor / Whirlpool Drive area – electric pole had a small fire – Oxford Electric disconnected the power to the pole and using an OFD water extinguisher put the fire out
6:57 p.m. – University Intramural Fields Mall Drive – no ambulance available – victim had a severe ankle injury – FD stabilized victim for transport to ER in a friend’s personal vehicle.
9:57 p.m. – Oxford Wheel Estates No. 23 – caller advised her breaker box was making a noise – FD didn’t find anything wrong with breaker box

At 6:53 p.m. to the intersection of CR 101 and CR 1032 for a car fire where firefighters extinguished the fire
