WATER VALLEY — Bobby Gene Sprouse, 72, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley. There are no plans for a memorial service. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born in Panola County, he lived in the Coffeeville area for some time. He was a retired carpenter having worked in all phases of home construction. Making fixed blade knives was a hobby he enjoyed.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Sprouse.

He is survived by two sons, Nathan Sprouse and Mickey Sprouse, both of Thaxton; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
