One person is dead in a two-car crash on Highway 6 in Oxford.

The crash was near Old Taylor Road today around 1 p.m.

According to Oxford Police Maj. Jeff McCutchen, officers discovered one driver of one of the vehicles had been ejected. He said EMS responded and the person who was ejected was later pronounced dead.

An investigation currently is ongoing at the crash site with a detective and accident reconstructionist on scene.
