COFFEEVILLE — Sgt. Donald G. Martin, 59, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. A memorial service was held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Broom Church in Yalobusha County. Seven Oaks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He served as a sergeant in the United States Army National Guard and was a self-employed plumber. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Shaquita Stone of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Channing Madden of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his brother, Travis Martin of Jackson; and two sisters, Bridgette Ramage of Calhoun City and Stacy Martin of Athens, Alabama; and a host of other relatives.
