Virginia Lee Ramay Johnson, 47, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. A memorial service will be Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Oxford University United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Rester and the Rev. Warren Black officiating. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, from 3:30 until 6 p.m. at the church.

Born in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, Johnson was an alumna of Emory University where she was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority. She was an active member of Oxford-University United Methodist Church and the Oxford Junior Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Glover Johnson of Oxford; a daughter, Morgan Johnson, of Oxford; a son, Mason Johnson of Oxford; her parents, Bob and Cinda Ramay of Blairsville, Georgia; and two sisters, Sarah Duncan of Atlanta, Georgia, and Laura Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia.
