Oxford attorney Tom Suszek has been selected by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of this year’s Mississippi Leaders in Law.

The 40 winners will be honored at a dinner and awards ceremony this week at the Hilton Hotel on County Line Road in Jackson. 

The selection is made after nominations from among the Mississippi State Bar Association’s 9,048 active members. Lafayette County has 345 members.

Suszek is a longtime Oxford resident, and has worked as an attorney with Holcomb Dunbar since his graduation from the University of Mississippi Law Center in 1982.

His primary areas of practice are commercial law, real estate, wills and estates and litigation. He has served as an instructor of Federal Trial Practice and of Pretrial Practice for the University of Mississippi School of Law. He also has taught the Business Law course in the undergraduate program at the University of Mississippi.
