Edith Lucille Johnson Mize, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.

Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hope officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery.

Born in Water Valley to the late Lemie Lattimore and Eloise Barton Johnson, Mize was a PBX supervisor at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was very active in the First Pentecostal Church in Oxford.

She is survived by her daughter, Dotty Mize McCall of Oxford, and two brothers, Jack Johnson of Madera, California, and Johnny Johnson of Marysville, California. Mize was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Mize.
