OXFORD — Rebecca Susan Simmons, 63, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. A memorial visitation service will be held today from 2-4 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a resident of Lafayette County for 15 years. She was an employee of Sayle Oil and Kangaroo for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her four grandsons and great-granddaughter.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Butch Cosand.

She is survived by her daughters Paula Clemons and Linda Griffith, both of Oxford; brother Mike Cosand of Illinois; and sister Patricia Barry of Mooresville, Indiana.
