Pauline Cook Gary, 95, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pine Flat United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born on her family farm near Oxford, she graduated from Taylor High School in 1938 and moved to Memphis where she met her husband of 45 years, Phil Gary. She retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital business office after 36 years of service. She packed her almost 96 years with life and love and will be greatly missed by all.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Phil I. Gary; her sister, Alma Cook and her brother Earl Cook. 

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Treffinger of Ft. Mill, South Carolina and Bill Gary of Batesville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
