OXFORD — Mary Louise Shaw McPhail, 78, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Lipe officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Cemetery in Batesville. Visitation will be held this evening from 4-6 at the funeral home.

She was the owner of the Cedar Bucket in Oxford. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling. She loved her family and was a very kind, giving person.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Brooks McPhail.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte M. Still of Oxford; three sons, David McPhail, Brent McPhail and Ben McPhail, all of Oxford; a brother, Gordon Shaw of Hot Springs, Arkansas, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
