WATER VALLEY — Garry Lee Hervey, 64, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at the Water Valley Civic Auditorium with burial in Union Hill Cemetery in Water Valley. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. Serenity Daniels Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Water Valley, he was a member of Kingdom Hall in Oxford and worked as ground maintenance for the Mississippi Department of Transportation up until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Mable M. Hervey of Water Valley; sons Bobby Hervey of Peoria, Illinois, and Nicholas Hervey and Justin Hervey, both of Water Valley; daughters Bonita Carothers of Tupelo, Jennifer Neely of Oxford, and Uneaka Hervey and Kortnee Hervey, both of Water Valley; brothers Freddie Hervey and Jerome Hervey, both of Water Valley; and sisters Janie Morgan of Batesville and Cathy Rucker of Water Valley.
