Tens of thousands of women worldwide will participate in the IF:Gathering on Feb. 5-6, via a live stream from a live, sold out event in Austin, Texas.

Locally, Lafayette County women can join the gathering at The Orchard that will be telecasting the live event. Cost is $25 a ticket. The Orchard is located at 295 Highway 7 North.

With a variety of cultures and denominations represented, the IF:Gathering provides space for women to wrestle with essential questions of faith, to dream and to connect during a two-day gathering.

Jennie Allen, founder and visionary, started the non-profit event. She was joined by Lindsey Nobles, chief operating officer, and together, they formed a team of Christian female leaders that desired to gather this generation of women by creating a pure, honest space to wrestle with the essential question: IF God is real, then what?

Past conferences and gatherings geared toward women have focused on issues such as marriage, parenthood and forgiveness.

In the first two years, IF:Gathering has reached more than one million women in 50 countries. By partnering with organizations like International Justice Mission, IF is coming alongside women around the world, fostering relationships and utilizing women’s gifts to not only transform hearts but also leave a tangible impact on the entire world.
