MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Clyde Ward “Buster” Heatherly, 61, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Irvin and Chris Schurr officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, he was a graduate of Lafayette High School and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He spent time hanging out with friends and was always willing to help those who were in need.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Lynn Henson.

He is survived by his mother, Rosa Ward Heatherly of Etta; four sisters, Peggy Whiteside of Water Valley, Rosa Lee Price of Etta, Pamela Ivy of Oxford and Gail Heatherly Press of Memphis, Tennessee; two brothers, Bobby Rice of Byhalia and Steven Ray Heatherly of Water Valley; 18 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.
