A Lafayette County woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly running over a man with her car.

According to investigators, at about 3 p.m., deputies responded to a call on County Road 117. Witnesses told the deputies a man had been run over and that someone had drove him to Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

After a brief investigation, Salena Buck, 20, was arrested at her home and charged with domestic violence with aggravated assault. She was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she is awaiting a first-appearance bond hearing.

The man was eventually flown out from Baptist to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis where he was in stable condition.
