A Water Valley man has been charged with embezzling money from Kangaroo Gas Station while being employed there.

Charged was Jason Bland, 33, who worked at the Kangaroo on Highway 6 West in Oxford. Reports say he was “caught” embezzling more than $1,000 from the gas station. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000.
