MONTGOMERY, Illnois — Willie Lewis Perry, 65, formerly of Oxford, died Thursday Feb. 4, 2016, at his home in Montgomery Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Progressive Baptist Church with the Rev. George Rayford officiating. Visitation will be this evening from 3-5 p.m. at Diererle Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Oxford, he received his education in the Oxford School District at Central High School. He was loved by his family and friends and all that knew him. He was a family man, skilled craftsman and enjoyed helping others.

He is survived by his wife Rose Perry of Montgomery, Illinois; five sons, Brandon Finley, Derrek Perry, Andre Perry, Corey Perry and Tristan Robinson; mother, Emma Perry of Oxford; eight siblings, E.V. Booker of Memphis, Tennessee, Betty Burt, Frances Market, Tommie Perry, Jerry Perry, Jeanette Roland, Calvin Perry, all of Aurora, Illinois, Melody Perry Visor of Oxford; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
