WATER VALLEY — Pauline Lewis, 97, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was a retired homemaker who lived in the Water Valley area most of her life. She enjoyed crochet and quilting in her spare time. She took pleasure in growing vegetables in her garden. Until her health failed, she was very active in the Jehovah’s Witness church of which she was a member.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Lewis.

Survivors include her son, Grover Lewis of Winona; three sisters, Mable Hervey of Water Valley, Dora Walls of Oxford and Helen Motts of Holly Springs; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
