OXFORD — Phyllis Diana Marion, 53, of Abbeville, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon at Providence U.M. Church with the Rev. Wayne Bass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Homes of Oxford, which is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Lafayette County, she was an assembly line operator and member of Providence United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Marion of Abbeville; parents, Ben and Ressie Isom of Abbeville; son, Anthony Marion of Oxford; daughters, Marie Blalock of Abbeville and Felicia Marion of Abbeville; brothers, Bruce Harris, Jerry Isom and David Isom, all of Abbeville, and Richard Gordon of Michigan; sisters, Bobbie Bowie, Theresia Wadley, Bridgett Brown and Donna Joiner, all of Abbeville, Tracey Booker of Oxford and Treva Webb of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and 11 grandchildren.
